Europe has a long History. You have such a wonder world of antiques. After two word wars it is special to see such old beautiful pieces. I love it all. Getting it sent to United States would be exorbitant. I'm so envious.
Yeah the two world wars did a lot of damage. Europe has not been the same ever since.

While you are showing things, I'm focused on that beautiful chandelier with the blue crystals. Oh it is just stunning! Even the stuff you say is not too old is beautiful. A lot of quality in it all. Beautiful wood. I can see why Billy loves this shop.

I totally get the temptation to buy furniture and antiques even prior to having the house completed. Often we see something unique, and it's gone when we actually need it. But it's a balance of sticking to a budget, having the place to store it until it's needed, and funnelling the money towards building materials. But every once in a while, we need a bit of bling to motivate us.

Great video , regardless of the value of the LV trunk to someone else who only cares about the monogram I would have brought it as an investment and place to store your other LV items or made it a display piece , but that’s just me and I guess each to their own.

I think it's great that younger people are looking at the antique furniture. It seems to be well made/materials compared to what's out there now. Idk, maybe i need to shop the fancy places to see what's actually out there ha ha.

I loved touring the antique shop with you. My Dad worked at one on Royal Street in New Orleans that sold furniture and jewelry. This makes me miss him even more. He was a cabinet maker, restoring/repairing the antiques that the owner bought in Europe. He also built magnificent pieces from scratch at home, and took in repairs/restoration projects there, too. We had some incredible pieces come through our house.He worked until he was 85 and the only reason he quit was because the shop closed down for a while after Katrina, then quit selling furniture and only sold the jewelry.
