| Valefor finds herself back at Zagan's mansion, and thankfully in a better spirit seeing both him and Nephy have their affectionate time together with Raphael, it's such a sweet feeling of calling them a (pseudo) family. Nephy making macarons for Zagan and Manuela, and while that pleases the Archdemon, the broken music phonograph is what he wanted to play some music with, whilst Barbatos and Tail-Head Chastille await their arrival of groceries to cook up a meal while Zagan fixes the phonograph with his ancient magic. Too bad that Barbatos has to babysit and deal with Chastille's natural-born clumsiness, and Zagan woildn't mind if his best friend died lols, what a friend. Not to mention that Chastille is literally bad at EVERYTHING, Nephy almost puked her soup out. The entire "family" gathered together for a fine meal, though Barbatos inconceivably revealing Chastille's deep secrets, and trying out Chastille's soup that eventually made it to Barbatos (courtesy of Valefor), she's a homewrecker for a good reason. As to both Zagan and Nephy, their circumstances that brought them together, as well as the people they came and went with, even going as far as to a dance together (which Zagan doesn't know how and has to be taught by Raphael), he still has a long way to go. The phonograph is best left to the streets for people to dance to, while the couple dancing together for the first time, their love story has only just begun. Such a charmingly cute series, and is SOOOO much better than IkeNaiKyo. |

| Last time seeing Nephy, sadly :( Glad to see Raphael stayed and turned into a butler. I would love to see a spinoff of just him, not even a season two. Though I would take that too, ofc. The whole thing with the macaroons just shows how much these two lovable idiots have grown as a "couple." I have no doubt they'll do well, even if what Fol said was true about them kissing taking decades... lol. Glad to see that Chastille has her job back and is doing well. Well, somewhat well, seeing as she's kind of a klutz as Barbatos put it. Without him, I don't think she would live to see another day lol. Though to think all it would take was a bit of alcohol—by a bit I mean the whole bottle—and he was drunk, sputtering about how poor Chastille sleeps with a plushie... lol. Poor Raphael, bro had to sit and see that "dancing" of Zagan and Nephy's. For Zagan, his dilemma isn't defeating his foes, but loving his elf bride. Though he's getting better... slowly but surely. An Ikenaikyo-esque show, though this show is MILES better, will miss it dearly. |

| 😢 can’t believe this really over man. One of the biggest surprises of the season. Need another season for sure. But I’ll def check out the LN Finale had everything that makes this such a special watch! Valefor fully incorporated into Zagan and Nephy’s home as their daughter now. Even the townspeople can’t help but comment on how cute they are. Given everything both she and Nephy have been through I’m so happy they have a place where they belong and are loved. Seeing the whole cast together for a final meal was perfect! Raphael as a butler considering how powerful and high ranking a knight he was seems weird, but at the same time feels like he was made for it lol. Chastille looking gorgeous as per, but the fact Barbatos has to watch over her constantly because she’s clumsy was so funny! Zagan is so kind and wants all the people he cares about taken care of, and with good reason tbf. Without that Barbatos security detail, Chastille would probably be dead from any number of things now lol. Including her cooking which according to Nephy is as bad as the muddy water she used to have to drink as a slave lmao Serving it to Barbatos after he wouldn’t shut up talking shit about Chastille was brilliant. I feel like they’re setting up he and Chastille as a ship.. never sensed chemistry from them before, but I could see it after this one. “Their long story has only just begun” 😭 beautiful final scene man. Zagan and Nephy are just perfect for one another and found each other at the perfect time. Zagan’s really come out of his shell and opened his heart to the world thanks to her. He looks so happy finally. I’m gonna miss this so much 😩 |

| After what we got last time, this finale felt more like an OVA than it did the last episode. It's good to see some snippets of Zagan's family life now that the adventure's calmed down. Elf Slave Bride has good moments but lacks focus. While the relationship between Zagan and Nephy is adorable, it comes to feel more like a background element in the story as things ramp up, namely during the arc with the business between Valefor and Raphael, which more or less shelves Nephy. The side story of Chastille and the corrupt church would have kicked ass if it were the main focus. Another big weakness of this series is how formulaic it is. The corrupt church is just evil for the sake of being evil, and a lot of the interactions between Zagan and Nephy felt like they were just running down a checklist of things the main couple does in a romcom. (Feed each other and get freaked out over indirect kiss, check; almost kiss but get cockblocked by a side character, check; have the relationship almost trashed by a bullshit misunderstanding, check...) My strong points for this series are the charming characters, and the speed at which the main couple progressed. From Zagan's edgelord lines to Nephy's ear twitches to Chastille's dojiko appeal, this is a very lovable cast, and the midseason confession totally breaks the mold of the Romance genre. I just wish the second half of the show were as good as the first. +1 Cancel Boost, 7/10. |

| Going into this episode I didn't realize that this was the finale but what was shown was nice although it did feel more like an OVA. Early on in this episode it felt like For was speaking on behalf of the audience when she said that it would be decades before Nephy and Zagan kiss since they can currently barely hold hands lol. I liked how the main cast got together for a dinner that was filled with some family-type drama although the episode as a whole was mostly SoL. Regarding the series as a whole, I liked the pacing and the character designs, especially Nephy and her expressive ears. About the storyline, while I thought it was good, there's more story to tell but I'm glad that they did not leave this on a cliffhanger. 7/10 |

| Wholesome sweet finale just like the entire anime. For too cute. Nephy and Chastille cute too. Dunno if it'll get a sequel but will prolly be there if it gets one. Wish they do better with music next time though and the story overall. Cause it was quite boring and cliche at times. Overall not bad and pretty decent. |

| I gave it 8, a wholesome series, (more a SoL than an action as it is written in the page) the plot wasn't bad honestly, not top interesting but not bad either, anyway I doubt we'll ever see a 2nd season of it (not anytime soon at least). |

| Once lonely, crushed with helplessness Zagan finds happiness with his elf bride. Our best girl Nephy who used to get treated inhumanly gets to spend her life with bliss being beside Zagan. Valefor's diary goes on with her delightful life as the daughter. Raphael being the ideal Battler. Barbatos the annoying pal. Chastille being Chastille hehe. The Zagan family got well established in the society and Zagan's reputation also enriched. All of the important characters gathering was a well of course for an ending episode. Indeed some quality time spending together. The banter between Barbatos and Chastille was hilarious lmao. And that dance really got my heart pounding with sheer sweetness. Splendid way to end a season of this type of series. The wholesome and sweet moments between Zagan and Nephy really warmed up my heart with sheer wholesomeness. The comedy was decent. Side characters well also kinda well off. Overall a splendid season. Rating: 8.1/10 Quite saddens that this load of wholesomeness is actually over 〒﹏〒. Definitely hopin' for a 2nd season |

| Nephy sure didn't hold back her opinion about Chastile's cooking. Besides that, it was a pleasant show to watch. I didn't expect the show to go as wholesome as it did. It sure added some serious moments yet I am glad there weren't present for long. Also I want a proper wedding invitation give to me about them so I hope there is a second season for this. |

| Nothing more heartwarming than For returning to her diary and being happy she's back home with her family! It would be nice if she could give Chastille proper credit instead of "maybe she helped?" but baby steps... I like how they are already treated like a family by the people in town. Everybody now loves Zagan, Nephy, and their daughter!... Really hope this gets a season 2... |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Definitely started off on a much better note, but it still turned out to be a decent watch in the end. Valefor's, "Can you imagine how many decades it'll take before they kiss?", perfectly summed it up. It's funny when you see it for the first 8=9 episodes of the show but for the entire cour is a little too uneventful. Especially considering that it was my main attraction to the show, in the first place. Rafael-san's addition to the cast after the conversion was a real delight, wished there were more eps to show more of it. Wouldn't mind a 2nd season to cover that patch up though... 7/10. |
